ANSSI and India reinforce cooperation in the field of cybersecurity

The National Cybersecurity Agency of France (ANSSI) was in India for a three-day working visit in October 2019. The agency took part in the ninth edition of the “CyFy” conference (14-16 October 2019), conducted by the Observer Research Foundation, and met with its counterparts to reinforce cooperation in the field of cybersecurity.

This visit was indeed made in the context of the implementation of the Indo-French roadmap for cybersecurity and digital technology adopted in August 2019. In accordance with this document, both countries affirm their commitment to an open, reliable, and secure cyberspace as well as the importance of promoting, and implementing voluntary norms of responsible State behaviour in cyberspace, confidence and capacity-building measures developed within the framework of the United Nations. Moreover, France and India underline their willingness to strengthen the sharing of information to prevent cyber threats.
