This visit was indeed made in the context of the implementation of the Indo-French roadmap for cybersecurity and digital technology adopted in August 2019. In accordance with this document, both countries affirm their commitment to an open, reliable, and secure cyberspace as well as the importance of promoting, and implementing voluntary norms of responsible State behaviour in cyberspace, confidence and capacity-building measures developed within the framework of the United Nations. Moreover, France and India underline their willingness to strengthen the sharing of information to prevent cyber threats.

This edition of “CyFy” gathered over 130 speakers and delegates from nearly 40 countries to discuss cybersecurity and technology related matters. The participation of ANSSI to the panel “Whose Data Is It Anyway” was an opportunity to stress on the importance of network security when it comes to ensuring data protection.
